I wasn't going to post anything else today over here. But, um. Nick Hornby's latest post is pretty much made of awesome and reflects a lot of what I (and other fans) feel. Granted, I haven't supported Arsenal (or any team) for 40 years (mostly because I'm not 40). But I don't think that makes my feels on the issue any less valid. The bit I've quoted is from the end of the post, but definitely read the whole thing.

Here’s something to look forward to: sooner or later, every single Premiership club will be owned by multi-billionaires, and yet three of them will still be relegated at the end of the season. That will be funny – unless, of course, that’s when the Premier League decide to pull up the drawbridge.
