Monday Catch Up

I have a lot I want to say, but really no desire to actually say it. Which is really lucky, because I'm sure none of you want to read it.

Let's recap everything that I haven't posted about:

  • USWNT won! It was fantastic, I'm grateful I didn't have to work Thursday morning so that I could watch it.
  • USMNT won! It was not fantastic, but I am thrilled that I got to watch it.
  • The DC loss I'm definitely not talking about. At all.
  • Arsenal losing to Fulham. By one goal. So, seriously, it's going to be that kind of season. It's a good thing I'm used to this by now (being a Cleveland fan is good for something I guess).
  • DC winning! It was a good game to watch, though our defense certainly didn't make me believe we were going to win.
  • Arsenal Ladies spanked Liverpool 11-2 over the weekend. I have to say, that's pretty f'ing awesome. Too bad the men couldn't find the back of the net -- even if it was wide open in front of them.
Other things. For reasons unknown to anyone, I watched LA/Chicago. I pretty much don't remember anything from it, except that I think I liked Steven Cronin's hair, even if he does look a bit too much like Rod Dyachenko. Oh, and I really hate the Fire. I also watched the Crew take down RSL and that was a pretty nice game, too. But, man, nothing was better than Tino's goal. At least in my opinion (except maybe Carli Lloyd's).

One last thing. It really is too bad that I don't live in DC.
